Summary A traffic warden turned over the fruit handcarts near Nigar Phatak Gujranwala. The owners staged protest and blocked the GT Road due to which traffic got jammed.
In a campaign against encroachments, traffic warden inspector Mian Khalil along with other staff launched an operation to get rid of fruit handcarts from the roadside. After the operation, cart-owners took to streets and shouted slogans against the inspector. They also blocked the GT Road, however, Sadar police station officials restored the traffic after negotiations with the protestors.
