A case of embezzlement of Rs 11 crore has been registered against the inspector of Railway Public Works Department on the directive of IG Railway. The case has been registered in Landhi police station against inspector Muhammad Ali of Public Works Department for embezzlement of Rs 11 crore in the installation of railway tracks. The case has been registered on the directive of IG Railway Asghar Raza. Rs 11 crore embezzlement was exposed in a report presented to the IG Railway by the Special Branch. According to railway officials, departmental action would be taken against Muhammad Ali soon.
