RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Italian army chief General Danilo Errico has called on Chief of the Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday at General Headquarters.
The visiting army chief was presented the guard-of-honour upon his arrival. He laid wreath at martyrs memorial in GHQ and convened a meeting with the army chief.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed measures to eradicate terrorism and training of troops in joint drills. General admired efforts of Pakistan military to weed-out terrorism and the successes garnered by Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.

The visiting army chief also called on Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Zakaullah. The two leaders discussed matters of mutual importance. Admiral Zakaullah briefed the army chief regarding efforts of Pakistani troops and sacrifices rendered in war on terror.
