Summary PTI has refused to attend the APC invited by PPP, JI has however accepted the invitation
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has on Tuesday refused to attend the All Parties Conference (APC) proposed by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on the issue of the extension of military courts. Jamaat Islami (JI), however, has accepted the invitation, reported Dunya News.
The APC proposed by PPP in order to unite the opposition on one platform and create consensus on its proposed bill regarding the extension of military courts has failed before even being held as PTI rejected PPP’s call to attend the conference.
Talking to media, PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry said that his party won’t be joining the APC since the parliamentary leaders had already reached a decision in this regard and the APC was now useless.
