Pashtun delegate meets Punjab CM to clear reservations

LAHORE (Dunya News) - A delegate of Pashtuns, headed by Advisor to Prime Minister Amir Muqam, met Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday and informed him about their reservations.

After the meeting, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah talked to media and said CM has ensured the delegate that Pashtuns, residing in Punjab, will be mistreated by no one as they are our brothers.

Rana Sanaullah also said that government will not let the terrorists succeed in their heinous purposes.

Amir Muqam told media that they had reservations regarding the privacy and asked CM that a lady officer and local representative should be present during the search operations.

Amir Muqam said that whole country is fighting war against terrorism, and Pashtuns are not being treated unfairly. It is not appropriate to make this matter a political issue, he added.
