ISLAMABAD (Daily Dunya) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has decided not to conduct rallies till verdict in Panama leaks case is announced by apex court.
According to the party resources, Imran Khan has issued directives to party’s leadership not to conduct rallies till Panama leaks case’s verdict and has cancelled Sargodha’s gathering in this regard.
PTI’s North Punjab President Amir Kayani told that rally has been postponed due to change in party’s strategy.
“We will devise future framework in light of verdict in Panama leaks case”, narrated Kayani.
The PML-N led federal government and opposition parties have been locked in dispute about the response to the Panama Papers since April.
The leak, comprising 11.5 million documents from Panama-based law firm Mossack Fonseca, shows how some of the world’s most powerful people have secreted their money offshore.
Among those named are three of Sharif’s four children -- daughter Maryam and sons Hasan and Hussain -- with the records showing they owned London real estate through offshore companies administered by the firm.
