KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Police have enforced Section-144 in Karachi on Sunday for 15 days which bars the people to gather in groups, carry out processions and rallies.

The imposition of the law has been done over Sindh Inspector General of Police’s concerns regarding terror attacks in the city. According to the Government of Sindh, the decision has come in to foil terror bids in the metropolis and secure the locals.

The enforcement has come in over two days after a suicide blast at shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sindh’s Sehwan Sharif claimed 88 lives and injured over 200.

There have been seven attacks in four provinces in five days as a fresh wave of terrorism hit Pakistan this month.
