Plea seeking to sack Sartaj Aziz among 13 advisors to PM filed in SHC

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Petition challenging appointment of Sartaj Aziz, Tariq Fatemi among 13 advisors to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been filed in Sindh High Court on Wednesday.

The plea filed by a local seeks the court to declare the appointment not in accordance with the law. The petition states that the Constitution of Pakistan bounds the premier to designate persons who earn mandate of the people as his assistants and special assistants.

The plea is to be heard by a bench presided over by Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Sajjad Ali Shah on Thursday.

Earlier the high court had objected to the appointment of advisors to Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah that led to sacking of three of them and eight assistants.
