KARACHI (Dunya News) – It has been revealed in Karachi that police officers are allegedly involved in the illegal sale of smuggled Iranian petrol and diesel.

An arrested Iranian fuel seller named Peer Muhammad has revealed in his video statement during investigation that a police officer appointed at Manghopir police station takes fifty thousand rupees to enter oil tankers in Karachi that come from Balochistan.

It is also disclosed that an application had already been given by the officer in charge of Manghopir police station to change the staff as it had contacts with the criminals.

The higher officials of police have ordered district Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) to conduct investigation of the incident.
