LHC Chief Justice visits Punjab Inspector General office

LAHORE (Dunya News) – First the time in history, Chief Justice of Lahore High Court paid a visit to the office of Punjab Inspector General (IG).

Chief Justice of LHC Justice Mansoor Ali Shah was accompanied by senior judge Justice Shahid Hameed Dar and other members of judiciary. Punjab IG welcomed the LHC CJ and presented him guard of honor by young police officers.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah commended the use of modern technology by police. Senior police officers briefed CJ and other judges about their tasks. LHC CJ suggested the IG of Punjab to centralize the criminal record in relevance to criminal justice system.

He also asked the IG office to nominate his focal person. CJ told that LHC will provide quick justice after presence of focal person at IG office by getting benefited by the modern system.

IG of Punjab presented a memorable shield to Chief Justice of Lahore High Court. The visit was concluded by a group photograph.
