ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistani citizens will now be able to carry out financial transactions and also receive government disbursements through their national ID cards thanks to the new collaboration of technology giant Mastercard and NADRA.
According to details, both NADRA and Mastercard have teamed up to optimise National ID cards with e-payment facilities.
With new facility, the citizens would be able to use their CNICs for sending and receiving both domestic and international remittances.
In addition, the e-payment facilities would also end the requirement of physically visiting a bank branch or currency exchange for money transfer requirements.
