Summary PTI Chairman earlier called Election Commission ‘biased’ on the basis of an earlier verdict
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan has submitted an unconditional apology to Election Commission in party funding case, reported Dunya News.
It is pertinent to mention that PTI Chairman earlier called Election Commission ‘biased’ on the basis of a verdict it had given on January 9.
Imran Khan also submitted a petition calling to review the case.
However, after severe criticism by the ECP, PTI Chairman opted to withdraw the statement and filed an unconditional apology to the commission over his remarks.
The election commission resumed hearing the case associated to the PTI’s foreign funding and demanded PTI lawyer to submit details of all foreign funding.
The Election Commission of Pakistan adjourned the hearing till January 24.
