Summary President Ghani acknowledged Pakistan's sacrifices in war on terror
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa telephoned President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani and condemned bomb attacks in Kabul and Kandahar earlier this month.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the army chief told the president that all terror hideouts have been demolished in Pakistan and that blame game would help enemies of peace in the region.
He said Pakistan has fought a long war against terrorism and called for the Afghanistan president to cooperate to strengthen positive outcomes of Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
President Ghani acknowledged Pakistan’s sacrifices in war on terror and agreed that cooperation is needed to fight the menace.
