KARACHI (Dunya News) - The intermittent rain has continued to shower most parts of Karachi on second day, causing power outages at scattered places in the metropolis.

According to details, the power breakdown turned out to be nightmarish for the residents in Orangi Town, Site, Nazimabad, North Nazimabad, Landhi, Korangi, New Karachi and Sarjani Town.
Meanwhile, Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar also visited various localities and expressed resentment over poor sewerage system as the standing water on streets caused severe traffic jams at busy roads.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at a number of places in Balochistan, in KP, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while at isolated places in Sindh, south Punjab.
On the other hand, at least four people sustained severe wounds as roof of a house collapsed in Karachi.
The injured have been shifted to Clifton Zia-ud-Din hospital for further medical assistance.
