Summary PFA sealed the unit making substandard tea and toffees; the products were injurious to health
MULTAN: (Dunya News) – Factories making substandard toffees and tea were on Thursday sealed by Punjab Food Authority (PFA) in a raid. The unit making substandard toffees was raided by PFA team while a factory producing fake tea was also found, reported Dunya News.
PFA arrested the suspects and started investigations. 4500 toffees and other substandard goods were taken into custody from one unit while 3000 kilograms of fake tea was seized from the other factory.

PFA Deputy Director Ejaz Nawaz told that peals of chickpeas, dye colour and other injurious to health ingredients were being used in making the tea.
