LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court’s Chief Justice in a historic verdict has ordered the recruitment of two blind students who secured top positions in CSS exams in Pakistan Administrative Services.
The two students named Faisal Majeed and Muhammad Yousaf fiearlier filed an application in Lahore High Court.
The chief justice also nullified the article 9 section 2 while ordering the recruitment of both the students and also all the disabled candidates in all groups on equal basis.
The government earlier sanctioned the employment of all the disabled candidates in various groups such as DMG, Police and Public Service commission as they were only allowed to join commerce and trade, postal service and accounts group.
