Summary Two investigation officers were suspended after dacoits escaped from Sharifabad Police Station.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Two dacoits escaped from Sharifabad Police Station on Monday during interrogation, Dunya News reported. Sources said that two officers of the Special Investigation Unit (SIU), Jameel Sidiqui and Taimuriya Nazar Abbas were suspended for negligence.
A case has also been registered against two police officials, Rahan and Salman after the dacoits fled from the Sharifabad Police Station.
Police sources informed that SIU officer Taimuriya Nazar Abbas had handed over the accused to Special Investigation Unit of Sharifabad Police Station to avoid a magistrate’s raid.
