Summary Tariq Khan said that he wants officials to take notice of Javed Hashmi's allegations on institution
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The former corps commander Lieutenant General (retd) Tariq Khan claimed on Monday that Javed Hashmi is trying to defame the institution of army, reported Dunya News.
He told that the ex-PTI leader accused army of playing negative role during Imran Khan s sit-ins which is incorrect. “Neither I know any politician nor talked to anyone about politics”, he added while talking in show Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Sath.
Lt Gen (retd) Tariq Khan asked the officials to take notice against such immature statements.
Meanwhile, former Chief Justice of Supreme Court Nasir ul Mulk refrained from responding to allegations made by Javed Hashmi. “I don t want to comment about this topic”, he said after being contacted by Dunya News.
It must be noted that Javed Hashmi had earlier made severe allegations about ex-Chief Justice of Pakistan that he was involved in planning a judicial martial law with Pakistan Tehree-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.
Javed Hashmi makes shocking revelations
While talking to Kamran Khan, the Lt Gen (R) said that democracy was supported during the era of then Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif. Allegations about a corps commander teaming up with chief justice are baseless.
He said, “I ve never met Imran Khan or told him about raising my finger”. He stressed that he doesn’t know PTI chief personally and has never talked to him.
The former corps commander said he is unaware why Javed Hashmi was making such claims and he suggested that someone was misleading Javed Hashmi.
