Summary Projects worth 108 billion rupees were approved along the western route of CPEC

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has given its approval for different infrastructure and other related projects worth 108 billion rupees.

It was decided in the meeting in Islamabad that was chaired by Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal.

During the meeting, projects worth 108 billion rupees were approved along the western route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the Quraquram Highway. These projects include the setting up of three highways that will link the western route to Gawadar via Zhob and Dera Ismail Khan. In addition, Zhob Bypass is also part of this project.

CDWP also approved project worth 22 billion rupees for the transmission of electricity.

Furthermore, clean water project worth 150 million rupees in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and a project worth 480 million rupees for establishing IB offices in Khuzdar have also been approved during the meeting.
