KARACHI (Dunya News) – Lateef Khosa, counsel of Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) former petroleum minister, Dr Asim Hussain has criticised Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif for not stepping down over Panama Leaks.
The criticism came after hearing of bail plea of Dr Asim Hussain was postponed today.
Division bench of Sindh High Court (SHC) comprising of Justice Abdul Malik and Justice Saleen Jaiser adjourned the hearing until later over absence of Dr Asim’s counsel however, the hearing was convened later on over request of the counsel only to be adjourned once again as officers of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were not present then.
While talking to the media afterwards, Khosa said that several leaders in the world resigned after Panama Leaks except for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
On the occasion, former governor of Punjab said that Asif Ali Zardari, former president, was out of the country for medical treatment and perception that he was waiting for ex-army chief General (r) Raheel Sharif to retire to return to Pakistan was wrong.
