LAHORE (Dunya News) – Anti-Corruption Department Punjab in its special operation arrested as many as 30 employees of Land Record Authority on the charge of paying bribes and getting hired as a result, reported Dunya News.
According to details, the operation was carried out during late hours of the night as the authorities arrested employees who are allegedly involved in paying bribes.
It has been reported that further investigations were carried out so as to find any clues of written evidences of the amount of bribes received and also the employees to whom the bribes have been paid.
Sources confirmed that there have been objections of financial misappropriations in land record authority against these employees.
The employees were allowed to go back to their homes after declaring their statements in written form.
