LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Justice (CJ) of Lahore High Court (LHC), Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah has advised law practitioners on Friday to not let clash between bar and bench hinder provision of justice to the people.

The Chief Justice addressed a seminar of Punjab Provincial Committee today during which he said that audit of cases has been conducted for the first time in history and timely reforms were brought for betterment of the people.

CJ Shah said that at least 0.15 million cases were under hearing in the high court while more than 1.3 million were being heard across Punjab.

He said that improvement in provision of quality justice was conditional to advancement in technology. The Chief Justice of LHC said that reforms in judiciary sector were not possible without funding.

CJ Mansoor Ali Shah demanded the government to provide funds so that able people are hired to do job well done.
