KARACHI (Dunya News) - Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Sunday said that they have failed to fulfill the dream of Quaid-e-Azam.

The minister visited Quaid’s mausoleum in Karachi and laid a floral wreath. He also offered Fateha.

While talking to media he said that despite of monarch system in the world, Pakistan is a democratic country.



“Democracy is flourishing in the country despite of being derailed for four times,” he said.

Saad pronounced that although Pakistan lacked resources however; it went on to become the 7th atomic power of the world.

“We are working day and night for the progress of the country. Loadshedding will end soon whereas railway system has been improved,” he said.

He reiterated that the war against terrorism is underway successfully.



The minister asserted that much time have been wasted before but they do not intend to do the same again and will give a flourishing Pakistan to the future.

Saad Rafique refused to speak on any controversial issue while being present in Quaid’s mausoleum.

A journalist asked him the reason behind late arrival at Quaid’s tomb as he was in Karachi for past several days.

The minister was quite irritated by the question and apologized that he cannot take such irrelevant queries.
