RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited North Wazirstan in his first visit to field formations after taking over command of Pakistan Army.

While addressing the troops, he declared that the war against terror will be carried on until it achieves the end results.

COAS let it be known that none of the terrorist would be allowed to return to the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) at any coast.

Gen Bajwa was also briefed on the security situations in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and also on the combing operations in FATA and Malakand at Corps Headquarters Peshawar.

He vowed that the war against terrorism would continue with full concentration alongside the benefits reaped as a result.

General Bajwa let it be known that as an army chief, he would make sure that the country is defended against both the internal and external threats.

COAS also revealed that establishing the new wings of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) on Pak-Afghan border would be speeded up.
