Summary Bilawal Bhutto lashed out at Indian PM Narendra Modi over the latter's threat of diverting water
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday lashed out at the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi over the latter’s threat of diverting water and leaving Pakistan dry to death. “We will fight for each drop of water that’s ours by right”, Bilawal said, reported Dunya News.
Hitting back at the Indian PM, Bilawal said that Pakistan will fight for every drop of water that belonged to it from the mutual sources of the subcontinent under the agreed formula.
The PPP chairman said that Modi was trying to fool his own people as Indus Basin Water Treaty was clear on the subject. He added that such things would never help Modi to divert the world’s attention from the plight of Kashmiri people. Bilawal advised Modi to look at the poverty in his own country and avoid such manipulations.
