Summary PTI chairman says Panama Leaks case was a test for SC, says no need for sit-in as search is on
LONDON: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has on Monday said that Panama Leaks case was a test for Supreme Court (SC) as it’ll be making a prime minister standing before the court of law over corruption charges for the first time in Pakistan’s history, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media, Imran Khan said that he had high hopes in SC. He said that his party’s job was only to assist the court but there was a lot left to be asked from PM still.
Imran Khan said that his job was over and now it was SC’s job to do the rest. He said that there was no need for a sit-in anymore as PM’s accountability was already on.
Responding to a question regarding Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) protest, Imran Khan said that it was PPP’s own point of view.
