ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan has on Wednesday informed the Supreme Court about the four references filed in the commission in disqualification case of Prime Minister.

The ECP has already stopped the hearing of a disqualification reference against the Prime Minister since the case is already being heard in the Supreme Court.

The Election Commission of Pakistan also informed the Supreme Court that the references relates with disqualification of the prime minister and it has been revealed hereby that he fails to comply with article 62, 63 of the constitution.

ECP also revealed that the references had been filed by Pakistan Peoples Part, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Awami Muslim League.

Furthermore, the ECP also revealed that the jurisdiction of the commission has also been questioned through these references.
