Sacrifices of martyrs won't go in vain, vows Raheel Sharif

Summary Successes achieved under Operation Zarb-e-Azb were being steadied, army chief said.

BAHAWALPUR (Dunya News) – Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif has vowed on Wednesday to not let sacrifices of the martyrs go in vain.

The army chief indulged himself in a casual talk session with soldiers after witnessing exercises of armed forces, Raad-ul-Barq (Strike of Thunder) in Khairpur Tamiwali area of Bahawalpur.

Referring to the menace of terrorism and different banned outfits, General Sharif reiterated that the ‘enemy’ was decimated and efforts for the cause were to be maintained.

Readiness of the armed forces would not let anyone cast an evil eye on Pakistan, the Chief of Army Staff said.

He said that successes achieved under Operation Zarb-e-Azb were being steadied and urged the soldiers to further better serve the nation.
