Summary Khan announced to lead a celebratory rally and withdrew protest call on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Member of National Assembly (MNA), affiliated with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Talal Chaudhry has lambasted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday by rhetorically asking its leader, Imran Khan to explain why ‘shame day’ was dubbed as ‘thanksgiving day’.

In a statement, Chaudhry raised different questions that he wanted Imran Khan to answer.

Firstly, the MNA asked Khan to explain how the organistion would get ‘1 million’ supporters seated using only 5,000 chairs. Chaudhry referred to claims of the party to gather at least 1 million supporters in Islamabad on November 2.

Secondly, Khan was asked by Talal Chaudhry to present himself for accountability over millions of Rupees collected under ‘funds for the sit-in’ which never happened as it was cancelled.

Representative of the ruling party also demanded Khan to explain why the political organisation was terming ‘humiliation day’, a ‘thanksgiving day’.

The statement has come in a day after PTI announced to not protest in the federal capital which was let known to the people on September 30 in an address in Lahore.

Imran Khan cancelled the protest after summoning groups of PTI followers to the federal capital over Supreme Court’s (SC) action in Panama Leaks case which ‘satisfied’ him.

Khan announced to lead a celebratory rally and withdrew protest call.
