RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Three civilians were martyred while eight injured after Indian forces opened unprovoked fire across the Working Boundary and Line of Control (LoC) in Charpar Sector on Wednesday taking the toll to seven.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the number of fatalities has hit seven within two days over Indian aggression at the LoC.
Retaliating to the fire, Pakistan Army killed five Indian soldiers and decimated four check-posts.
India resorted to a series of LoC violations ahead of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s address to the United Nations (UN) General Assembly last month. Indian High Commissioner (HC) has been summoned multiple times by Islamabad this year to lodge protest with.
The latest of the Indian representatives summoning came today when Deputy HC paid a visit to the office concerned earlier in the day.
At least two Pakistani soldiers were martyred in unprovoked shelling by Indian troops across the LoC on September 29 after tensions between the two neighbours escalated over Uri attack, for which India wrongly blamed Pakistan.
Following the terror attack, a false claim of India was refuted internationally of carrying out a surgical strike in Pakistani territory.
