Summary Police conducted operation in different parts of Karachi on Sunday and apprehended four accused.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Crackdown against criminal elements in Karachi continues and four accused were taken into custody by police on Sunday after two separate encounters in different parts of the city, Dunya News reported.
According to details, police arrested three accused in injured condition after an encounter in Awami Colony area of Korangi. The accused were identified as Nounan, Zeeshan and Asim. Police sources said that the arrested accused were involved in several cases of murder, attempted murder and robbery. Arms were also recovered from the arrested persons.
Separately, police conducted a raid against a car-lifter gang in Gulshan Iqbal area and arrested one accused after an armed encounter while three other accused who were also wounded, managed to escape from the scene.
Police sources said that arms and a stolen vehicle were recovered from the arrested accused while search to arrest his accomplices has been launched.
