Summary PSP leader said he was ashamed of the situation that Karachi was in, blamed Governor for it

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal has on Sunday said that Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad was responsible for the situation that Karachi was in and said that he was ashamed of the Karachi’s plight. He said that the governor had ruined the city during the fourteen years of his rule, reported Dunya News.

Threatening of a mass movement, Kamal said that he wouldn’t wait for 2018 election and could even surround the houses of the rulers to secure public rights.

PSP hoisted its flag in Musharraf Colony as the party began to reach out to the adjacent areas of Karachi as well. The slogans of the party workers made the atmosphere electric on this occasion.

Addressing the workers, Kamal said that he could also accept bribes and become someone like Ishratul Ibad but refused to do so.

PSP General Secretary Raza Haroon said that he wanted to respond to the ‘Karachi Kis Ka’ (Whose Karachi is this?) slogan by telling these people that this country, this province and this city all belonged to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

The speakers on the occasion said that those who remained prime ministers and chief ministers of the province twice raised the slogans of ‘bread, clothes and shelter’ but never provided any of these. They also said that the party claiming to have Karachi’s mandate also failed to fight Karachi’s case.
