Summary Police authorities have expanded the operational scale of the investigations
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sources privy to Sindh Police have reported on Saturday that the huge cache of weapons seized earlier this week in Azizabad bore markings of foreign manufacturers.
Following the revelation, sources said that the police authorities have expanded the operational scale of the investigations in the issue.
Inspector General of Sindh Police, AD Khawaja said that anti-Pakistan elements could have played a role. Earlier today, Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah announced that anti-corruption law was going to be amended for probe of the case.

While talking to the media, Shah said that the fact that weapons were seized near an office of a political party has added to the doubts of the government and law enforcement agencies which was why amendment in the law would be brought.
Anti-corruption department was also being revamped, he said.
The Chief Minister said that he would continue his efforts to better law and order in Sindh especially Karachi.
It should be mentioned here that Pakistan Rangers are leading a targeted operation in Karachi since 2013 after the federation permitted them to operate in the province with special policing powers.
The move aimed at curbing the growing crime incidence in the metropolis.
