Summary JIT has recorded the statements of MQM's leader on August 22 violence
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Investigation has started from Muttahida Qaumi Movement s (MQM) detained leaders regarding August 22 violence, reported Dunya News.
Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has interrogated MQM s Kanwar Naveed Jameel, Shahid Pasha and Kamar Mansoor in prison.
Kanwar Naveed Jameel told JIT that he was busy in political meetings during the time of clashes on August 22 whereas Kamar Mansoor claimed that he was not aware of Altaf Hussain speech. Shahid Pasha told JIT that he was at nine-zero during the attack on private TV channel.
All three MQM‘s leaders were arrested on August 23.
Investigation team said that interrogation from MQM’s leader would be continued.
