Summary Rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at scattered places.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Rain lashed various areas of Punjab including Lahore on Wednesday and turned the weather pleasant.
Numerous areas including Maragzar Colony, Iqbal Town, Johar Town, Abbot Road and Garhi Shahu experienced cool weather, gusty winds and drizzle which dropped the temperature.
According to Met Office, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan and Kohat divisions, Islamabad, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next 12 hours.
Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.

Islamabad 21°C, Lahore 25°C, Karachi 27°C, Peshawar 23°C , Quetta and Muzaffarabad 19°C, Gilgit 17°C and Murree 14°C.
According to the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next 12 to 24 hours.
