LAHORE: (Web Desk) - Pakistani sisters Maryam Masood and Erum Masood on Tuesday made history by flying Boeing 777 plane together. They flew it from Lahore to Karachi, Manchester, New York and London. The elder sister Maryam Masood was already a pilot with Pakistan International Airline (PIA) but their dream to fly together came true only recently when the younger sister Erum Masood also got the license to fly.

The ladies were the first sisters ever in South Asian history to fly together a Boeing 777.

Pakistani women have done wonders in aviation in the past as well. In 2006, seven women became fighter pilots for Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for the first time. In November last year, PAF Flying Officer Mariam Mukhtar also embraced martyrdom when her training aircraft crashed near Mianwali.

PIA official spokesperson Danyal Gilani was all praises for the young sisters as he proudly tweeted this from his Twitter account.
