Summary Incident an outcome of personal rivalry, police officials say
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A woman was shot dead on Sunday during a suspicious child kidnapping incident at Lines Area as armed men on a motorcycle opened fire at her while she attempted to protect her child from being kidnapped. However, police states that the incident occurred as a result of personal rivalry, reported Dunya News.
Aqeela was shot while she was heading to get medicine along with her husband. The murdered lady’s relatives state that the armed men on the bike were following her for quite some time and attempted to kidnap her child and opened fire at her when they were unsuccessful in their plans.
Locals were outraged at the killing and blocked the Corridor Three road and raised slogans against the police.
On the other hand, police officials refuse to admit that there was an attempt made by the armed men to kidnap Aneela’s child and state that the incident was the outcome of personal rivalry.
