Summary At least five dacoits were killed in encounter with police in Ghala Mandi area of Sahiwal.
SAHIWAL (Dunya News) – According to DPO Sahiwal, dacoits were fleeing after committing robbery in a house in the jurisdiction of Ghala Mandi Police Station when they came face to face with police. An exchange of fire between police and dacoits took place in which five dacoits were killed while two others managed to escape.
Two police officials were also wounded in the encounter and were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital. The DPO Sahiwal further said that the indentity of the dead dacoits is not yet known.
