Summary "Karachi and Sindh have many problems but this doesn't mean no one is doing anything to solve them"
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah stated on Saturday that the new cabinet shall work in harmony and that the work done by the cabinet shall be evident before all, reported Dunya News.
Sindh CM paid visit to the Quaid’s mausoleum along with the members of his newly appointed cabinet. Murad Ali Shah placed a wreath at the grave of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and prayed there as well.
While addressing the media later on, Murad Ali Shah said that there were numerous problems in Karachi and Sindh overall, further stating that this did not mean that no one was doing any work in order to solve the persisting problems.
Sindh CM said that he shall try to travel with as less security as possible, adding that he was not fond of having protocol. Earlier in the day, Murad Ali Shah was given a marvelous welcome at the Chief Minister’s House. He was presented a guard of honour by the police as well.
The first orders given by Murad Ali Shah as Sindh CM were about the removal of the barricades present outside the CM House. Shah also met with Sindh Governor and discussed matters of mutual interest.
Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani congratulated Sindh CM upon his success. Rabbani was welcomed by Shah himself upon his arrival at the CM House.
Shah also went to the residence of former Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah to meet him.
