Summary A number of old faces constitute the new Sindh cabinet
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Nine ministers took oath as members of Sindh cabinet on Saturday. The oath was taken from the ministers by Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, reported Dunya News.
The oath-taking ceremony was held in the Governor’s House. Makhdoom Jamil-uz-Zaman, Nisar Khuhro, Suhail Anwar Sial, Jam Khan Shoro, Mukesh Chawla, Shamim Mumtaz, Jam Mehtab Dahar, Sikandar Mandhro and Sardar Shah were among the ministers to take oath as members of the Sindh cabinet.
Nisar Khuhro was given the ministries of food and parliamentary affairs, Makhdoom Jamil-uz-Zaman was handed over the relief and revenue ministries, Jam Mehtab Dahar was appointed over the education ministry whereas Suhail Anwar Sial was given the agriculture ministry.
Sikandar Mandhro was handed over the health ministry, Sardar Shah was given the culture ministry, Shamim Mumtaz was appointed over the social welfare ministry, Jam Khan Shoro was given the local government ministry whereas Mukesh Kumar shall handle the taxation ministry.
Saeed Ghani, Murtaza Wahab, Maula Bux Chandio, Asghar Junejo, Khatu Mal, Irum Khalid, Dr Sikandar Shoro and Syed Ghulam Shah were among the advisors and four special assistants.
The new cabinet members met with Sindh Governor after taking their oaths.
