Summary Incident was being enquired, those responsible shall be prosecuted, says federal ministers
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Monday announced aid worth one million rupees for victims of electrocution, reported Dunya News.
Abid Sher Ali announced that those responsible for the sad happening shall be prosecuted. Two pedestrians died and one got injured on Sunday in Glaxo Town, Lahore, after a live wire fell in water as a result of short circuit.
Federal minister paid visit to the injured person undergoing treatment at the General Hospital and while addressing the media, stated that the incident was being enquired.
Abid Sher Ali stated that it was not possible to convert the entire electricity system underground but stated that efforts were being made to install insulator conductors in order to avoid such accidents.
He also said that town planning played an important role in this regards as well. Abid Sher Ali said that the injured person shall undergo free medical treatment whereas the deceased shall be given one million rupees each.
