MULTAN (Dunya News) – Authorities on Monday decided to include Mufti Abdul Qavi to probe Qandeel Baloch’s murder while Qavi stated that he felt immense grief and sorrow when he heard about Qandeel’s demise, reported Dunya News.
Her mother accused Qavi of inciting her sons to murder Qandeel and also demanded Qavi’s and her ex-husband’s arrest.
Police had decided to enquire from Qavi after a threatening video surfaced while Qavi slammed all the allegations and said that honour killing was strictly forbidden. On the other side, Qandeel’s brother had been sent to jail on a 14-day remand.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab assembly member presented adjournment motion which demanded serious strict action against honour killing.
