Summary Protests erupt across Pakistan after Indian forces killed 40 Kashmiris

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Protest rallies have been held across the country against Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, reported Friday.

People in large numbers have participated in rallies. While addressing the participants, different speakers urged international community to take notice of callous use of force in Indian-held Kashmir.


Protesters clicled in Loralai


Pakistan People’s Party staged protest outside press club in Peshawar to mark solidarity with Kashmiris.

People also rallied in leadership of JUI in Nushki and Sadiqabad and raised slogans against ruthless use of force in occupied Kashmir.
Other cities including Loralai and Chaman also observed protests.


Protest at Nushki


Protestors raised slogans in favour of the Chief of Army Staff and Pakistan Army and urged international powers to step forward to solve burning issue of Kashmir.

They have demanded the government to take decisive step to end the violence in Kashmir.


Protest reported in Sadiqabad


At least 40 Kashmiris have embraced martyrdom so far as Indian army unleashed lethal force to suppress demonstrations. Kashmiris had taken to streets following extrajudicial killing of Burhan Wani, a freedom fighter.

Wani was shot dead along with two other fighters by occupied forces and police in Bundoora village on Friday, 85km south of Srinagar, prompting mass mourning across the valley.
