Summary Pakistan will observe Black Day on Tuesday against Indian barbarism in Occupied Kashmir.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says Pakistan will continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support for Kashmiris in their just struggle for right to self-determination.

Addressing the Special Cabinet meeting in Lahore on Friday, he termed the movement of Kashmiris as a movement of freedom.

He said Indian brutalities will give impetus to the freedom struggle.

He said seven hundred thousand Indian soldiers deployed in Occupied Kashmir could not suppress the struggle of Kashmiris.
The Prime Minister termed Burhan Wani as martyr of independence movement.

He said Kashmiri people will get their right to self-determination for which the whole Pakistani nation is standing behind them.
The Prime Minister directed all the relevant departments to highlight Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces at international fora.

On the proposal of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the Federal Cabinet decided that Black Day will be observed on Tuesday against Indian barbarism in Occupied Kashmir.

Earlier, at the outset of meeting, the Cabinet offered fateha for the departed souls of Abdul Sattar Edhi, Amjad Sabri and Shuhada-e-Kashmir.

The meeting also condemned the terrorist attacks in France, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Turkey and Indonesia.

Protests erupted after Indian forces on last Friday evening shot dead 22-year-old Kashmiri freedom fighter Burhan Wani. His death came amid a rise in violence and separatist sentiment across the state, which has been at the center of a tussle between India and Pakistan for decades.

Wani was the leader of Hizb-ul Mujahideen, a group fighting Indian control of the Muslim-majority region. His social media videos show him wearing military fatigues and calling for jihad.

Activists and separatist leaders have criticized the security forces‘ response to the protests, accusing them of using excessive force.

So far, at least 40 Kashmiri protestors have been killed and more than 3000 injured in firing by Indian forces.
