Summary Target killer belonging to a political party has admitted killing of at least 16 persons.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to probe target killer Imran, who belonged to a political party and was arrested from Karachi, has completed its report. Dunya News has obtained copy of the JIT report.
According to JIT report, target killer Imran has confessed burning alive six advocates in City Court on April 9, 2008 in a vehicle. The accused has confessed killing of a total number of 16 persons, including political and religious party leaders.
He has also revealed names of 10 other target killers, including Imran Titlee, Nasim Najho, Ovais Gupa, Asim Ganja and Kamran Kala. He further stated that most of these target killers have fled abroad. He also confessed that he had collected ‘Fitrana’ amounting to Rs five lakh on the instructions of a unit in charge of a political party.
