Summary Monsoon incursion will continue in upper and central parts of the country during the current week.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast more monsoon rains in upper and some central parts of the country this week, particularly during the Eid holidays.
According to Met Office, rain and thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls accompanied by windstorm is expected at scattered places of Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa , FATA and Kashmir from Wednesday to Friday.
The spokesman said there is high risk of flash flooding in hilly areas.
He said the tourist destinations such as Murree, Galliat, Upper KP, GB and Kashmir are expected to receive, at times, heavy rains during Eid days that may trigger landslides in the vulnerable areas.
The tourists have been advised to remain abreast with weather updates to avoid any untoward situation.
