LAHORE (Dunya News) – Bodies of three members of a family who scorched to death in Kuwait were shifted to Lahore on Monday and will be buried in the native town Mian Channu.
The bodies were brought to Lahore by a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-206 after identification.
The other six members have been buried in Kuwait as according to the authorities their corpses were beyond recognition.
Nine natives of Mian Channu, including 5 children, 3 women and a man were burnt to death on Thursday as a residential building caught fire in Kuwait City.
Muhammad Asif, his wife, two sons Muhammad Umar, Muhammad Hamza, two daughters Javeria and Areej, Asif’s mother Nasreen Bibi, his sister-in-law and nephew were among those who died.
The incident happened in Kuwait’s city Farwaniya, where fire broke out because of short circuit.
Muhammad Asif’s brother, Muhammad Tariq was severely injured and was in critical condition.
