Summary Gowher Rizvi, adviser to Bangladesh PM, denied statement attributed to him by Indian channel.
DHAKA (Dunya News) - Policy Advisor to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Gowher Rizvi, on Sunday telephoned Pakistan High Commissioner in Dhaka, Shujaa Alam, and denied statement attributed to him by Indian channel NDTV that Pakistan was behind Friday’s attack on a café in Dhaka in which 20 civilians were killed.
Gowher Rizvi categorically denied the statement attributed to him by Indian media and said that he never blamed Pakistan’s ISI for the attack.
He further said that Bangladesh seeks help from international community, including Pakistan, against terrorism.
