Summary PPP to review coalition with PTI after KP govt allocated funds to Darul Uloom Haqqania
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday cancelled his visit to Islamabad and summoned the party’s meeting in Karachi, reported Dunya News.
PPP Chairman had summoned a high-level party meeting in Islamabad on June 1. Sources indicated that Bilawal cancelled his visit to the capital and summoned the party meeting in Karachi on June 2.
Anti-government movement carried out by PPP along with allocation of funds to Darul Uloom Haqqania by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government shall be discussed during the meeting.
PPP’s coordination committee members belonging to all four provinces will take part in the meeting along with the members of the parliamentary and political committees. Party’s central and important leaders were also directed to take part in the meeting.
People’s Party shall review its coalition with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the meeting after the latter allocated funds to the Haqqania madrassa, sources said.
