HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – At least five persons were killed and two others injured in a road mishap on National Highway near Matiari district in Sindh today (Monday).
According to police, a car en-route to Khairpur from Mirpur crashed into an oil-tanker coming from the opposite direction on National Highway near new Saeedabad area, killing four persons of a family and driver of the ill-fated vehicle.
The victims have been identified as 45-year-old Naseeban, 35-year-old Gulistan, 32-year-old Shaista, 40-year-old Abdul Ghani and driver Muhammad Iqbal.
The deceased belonged to Tando Masti area in Khairpur.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured and bodies to the nearby hospitals.
